Who is ICYS
ICYS is owned and operated by Brandon & Kristina Flaherty. Brandon founded the business in 1999. Prior to 1999 Brandon worked for a world renowned yacht brokerage in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Brandon focused the business between the base customers of Gulf Harbor Marina and the yachting capital of the world, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Just recently in 2008 Gulf Harbor Marina has nominated Image Charters & Yacht Sales Inc. the prestigious position of being their preferred Yacht Brokerage. ICYS enthusiastically accepted.
Having been involved in a sales based family business since birth Brandon knew that starting small and giving his customers the service, knowledge, and commitment to their goals would be a sure bet for success. The Flahertys purchased their first property in Gulf Harbor in 1995. They watched the marina from its birth being excavated and knew this was the place to lay a solid foundation for the family’s businesses. Brandon has sold and continues to sell vessels “to and for” a large part of the Gulf Harbor community. He sells from the smallest to the largest vessels in the marina.
ICYS Associates Creditability:
ICYS hires ONLY very knowledgeable personnel who have been in the yachting industry for at least ten years. This provides our customers with associates who have the background to give an accurate opinion of condition, value, and the vessel’s use for the purchaser.
Associates and Locations:
ICYS has associates and/or offices in Ft. Myers, FL (Gulf Harbor Plaza Units 101, 102, & 103), Ft.Lauderdale, FL, Lake City, MN ( office in downtown Lake City), Buzzard Rock Marina, and Kenlake Marina. Our staff is composed of Brandon Flaherty ( President), Kristina Flaherty (Financial Operations), Terri Bohrer (Secretary), Aaron Bang (Ft. Myers Sales Associate & Service), Cory Lee (Ft. Myers Sales Associate), Ted Gates (Sales Associate and Office Manager, Lake City, MN), Greg Sullivan (Sales Associate and Head of Marina Relations), David Granstaff (Sales Associate Mid West Sales). All of the above locations and personnel provide us a strategic position on Florida’s East and West coasts and we are positioned in the heart of the Mid-West for infiltrating the river systems, lake systems, and Great Lakes.
Advertising & Boat Shows:
ICYS advertises in all Internet heavy traffic sites and belongs to Yacht Council MLS, and Yacht World MLS. We also advertise in many local, national, and international print publications. We participate annually with brokerage-in- water slips in the local Ft. Myers Boat Show, The Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, The Miami International Boat Show, The Palm Beach Boat Show, Sarasota Summer & Fall Marina Jacks Boat Show, Gulf Harbour Memorial Boat Show, and The Minneapolis Winter Boat Show. All of this provides us with worldwide coverage
