Originally built by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company between 1899-1928. This boats are thrilling to sail, they are fast, stiff and responsive, the hull is slippery, and even at speed such little turbulance is created that the boat leaves virtually no wake. Designed over 100 years ago these 15 footers (waterline length) can give a modern go fast machine a run for its money.
This boat was completely restored by Warren Barker and the crew at I.Y.R.S. in 2004

Construction - carvel cedar planks on bent oak frames, oak keel, canvas on lapped cedar plank deck, solid fir spars (varnished), oiled cedar cockpit sole, varnished oak cockpit coaming, tiller and toe rail, varnished mahogany stern, center board trunk and cockpit seats.

Custom sunbrella fabric boom/cockpit tent with aft sail cover (tent re-stiched 2010). 8S Danforth anchor w/5' chain and 3/8" x 150' three strand nylon anchor line
Removable custom side mounted silicon bronze motor bracket- Salt water electric motor (MINN KOTA RT40) 40# thrust w/AGM 79Ah battery and box
Custom galvanized trailer with breaks, spare tire, tie dn straps and spar supports, stern jack for winter storage. Fenders, Compass, Bosom's chair, Two boat hooks, oar, extra lines, Manual & electric bilge pump.
