The company, HELLAS SHIPS SALES C0, was established in 2000, and since then has been active in both the sale and purchase of various types of vessels including Landing craft and Double ended type day passenger / car-truck ferries, day passengers, RORO, ROLO, cargo and tankers, dredgers, floating docks & restaurants to mention but a few. The company is run by CAPTAIN NICK PAPADAKIS, who has over 35 years of experience in the field of Shipping, and Ms. CHRISTINE CLAYTON who has been active for over 20 years in this business.
Nowadays we work together with both ship owners wishing to sell their vessels, and buyers who require our assistance with the purchase of all types of seagoing vessels and tonnage. We offer a full service, designed to suit our client’s individual needs, which includes the search for the required vessels, marketing of tonnage for sale, organizing pre-purchase surveys, negotiations, documentation, after sales service etc.
SALES:
We have successfully concluded the sales on behalf ofour principals to our respected clients for the below tonnage with worldwide delivery: Many ferries of the landing craft type / Day passenger vessels of various sizes / Small cargo vessels etc.
PRE-SALES:
If required by owners of vessels, we can arrange for an extensive pre-sales inspection by our office that includes:
* Personal inspection of vessels, notation of main particulars, copying main drawings
* Making digital interior and exterior pictures of the vessel
* Publishing vessel’s data on web sites at our expense
* Assistance of our clients during inspections
SALES:
* Negotiations with Buyers and Sellers
* Preparation of MOA and documentation
* Follow-up till actual delivery of the vessel is made
AFTER SALES:
* Deletion of the vessel from the relevant Ship’s Registry
* Any other works after the delivery of the vessel to the new owner

It is our policy to work as closely as possible with both Buyers and Sellers, but we certainly respect previously agreed upon commitments with our co-brokers.
