Hello and welcome to our website!
Florida Yacht Charters and Sales, Inc are pleased to be celebrating over 25 years in South Florida's marine industry.
Our business has grown considerably since opening at the Miami Beach Marina on South Beach in 1983. With a little luck (and a lot of persistence), we expanded our bareboat yacht charter fleet in Miami Beach to an average of 15 - 20 charter yachts, which operate 7 days per week, year round. We soon added a licensed yacht brokerage, new boat dealership and sailing school. We are also yacht charter consultants for larger, luxury crewed yachts worldwide.
We opened another yacht charter base at the historic seaport of Key West in 1992. We currently manage an average of 10 charter boats at our Key West location, and our Key West sales office is the "southernmost yacht brokerage" in the USA.
In 1994, we opened another yacht charter base at the first-class, beautiful Abaco Beach Resort in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, Bahamas. We currently manage another 10-12 charter yachts at that location.
In 2006, we opened our satellite office Amelia Island, Florida just north of Jacksonville. We choose that location for the convenience of our North Florida clients. we wanted to make it easy to buy a boat.
In 2007, our company expanded again, opening a location on the west coast of Florida. We felt St. Petersburg would be a great addition to our fast growing company. We hope to open two more offices in the near future in order to round out our current position.
Thus, with the help of our dedicated and talented staff, we currently manage an average of 35 bareboat and captained sailboats, motor yachts and cruising catamarans, which are each owned by private individuals in our Charter Ownership Program.

Our friendly and experienced sales team can help by efficiently handling all aspects of the sale, including advertising, financing, the closing, insurance and documentation.Our new boat dealerships features Jeanneau Yachts, Hanse Yachts, Moody Yachts, Fountaine Pajot Sailing and Power Catamarans, Carver Motor Yachts, Panga sport fishing boats and Apex dinghys. These are available for charter or private ownership.
We also offer sailing certification courses as an affiliate of the American Sailing Association as well as private power boat instruction.
Recently, we added a fractional ownership program called "FLEX-TIME". It is similar to real estate time-shares, except that FLEX-TIME owners get to use fresh, clean, new, professionally maintained yachts instead of a house or condo. Members benefit by only paying for a small portion of the boat they want to use. Each member saves thousands on annual operating expenses and with little or no money down. FLEX-TIME is an easy, affordable, hassle free alternative to private yacht ownership.
We especially enjoy meeting our clients from all over the world, who enjoy boating as much as we do.
