Manufacturers are motivated to keep their production lines busy through Fall and Winter, and the timing of the Newport International Boat Show is such that there's plenty of time to take advantage of a boat show special and have your new boat commissioned and ready to take you on a Fall cruise well before Winter takes hold of New England.
