With our expanded offices, Fillingham Yacht Sales now offers our customers immediate access to comprehensive full boat yard services, including a 50-Ton lift to accommodate larger yachts. Wet slips are also available for brokerage boats on a monthly basis.

Capt. Mike Lovchuk is a qualified US Masters Licensed Captain. He has been boating for over 45 years in Florida and Georgia. He has been employed in the transportation industry for over 12 years and in the insurance industry for 28 years. As a member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, Mike enjoys Club Cruising, Club Racing, and participates in the Club Predicted Log challenges. Ted Meljac has been in the Marine Industry for the past 33 years and has worked the last 3 years in the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay, FL area as a licensed and bonded Yacht Salesman. He started his career in Milwaukee, WI selling sailboats and motor yachts. He was a member of the Port Washington Yacht Club in Milwaukee and served as Commodore and Board of Director. While living in Wisconsin, he enjoyed cruising and sailing on Lake Michigan. Ted returned to his home town of Cleveland, Ohio, for 10 years selling new and used brokerage boats. He enjoyed cruising and fishing the Lake Erie Islands. Over the years, Ted has attended many Boat Manufacturers training schools; namely, Hatteras, Trojan, Carver, Cruisers Yachts, Marquis, Tollycraft, Maxum, Regulator, Tiara and Searay power boats. He has also trained with Beneteau, Morgan, Catalina, Hunter, Pearson, and Caliber sailboats. Ted brings vast first-hand knowledge of the Marine industry and professional sales experience to our organization. Tony Juan is a very experienced boater throughout the SE Coast of Florida, Bahamas and Latin America. Capt. Jim Stull is an educator, planner, and sailor with 40 years sailing and power boating experience. He is a sailing instructor and power boat instructor and holds United States Sailing Association Certificates Level I in both areas. In addition, he holds a USCG Captain license. Jim’s sailing and power boating experience includes a diverse geographic profile in the United States (East Coast, West Coast, and the Great Lakes), as well as the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean. Jim’s knowledge, skills, and experience are here to assist you with your purchase or sailing questions.

Heidi Trilsch started sailing on the waters of New England and Long Island Sound; and after being a sailing instructor and owning several boats finds herself once again cruising; this time on a sailboat between New England, the Bahamas and St. Petersburg, Florida. She and her husband have refit several sailboats for cruising and can relate with the needs of the Live Aboard Cruiser. The boats they have currently refitted are a Bristol 32 and a Southern Cross 39. Their latest project is a Gozzard 44. Heidi will be cruising the East Coast of the United States and the Bahamas and will be working from aboard the Gozzard 44. She will be happy to help you find your next cruising boat.

Ron Wilkson has over 40 years experience as an avid boater. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He has served as the Commodore of Yachting Rotarians for five years and is still active in this great organization. He has owned and operated a membership boating business at John’s Pass, FL, “Club Nautico”, keeping 10 boats afloat and available for members. Ron has personally owned several sail boats and power boats; and has operated boats up to 65 feet on both coasts of Florida. Ron’s background includes many years of Corporate Finance and valuation of complex issues. Ernesto Bustamante has been operating power boats since he was a young teenager; and has a great deal of experience on his own family’s power boats.
