Blue Water Marine was founded in 1995 and based at the South Beach area of Pwllheli’s Outer Harbour. In 1998 Blue Water Marine became a limited company and moved into its new purpose-built showroom and workshops being called ‘The Power Boat Centre’ set on a 2.5 acre site in a prime location at Hafan Pwllheli, North Wales’ most prestigious marina. Blue Water Marine’s Park & Launch facility and workshops back directly onto the estuary of Pwllheli Marina. Blue Water Marine staff offer a wealth of experience in all areas of boating and technical know how. With 20 members of staff for sales, administration, park and launch, service, parts and accessories, along with fully trained and skilled technicians. Park & Launch The yard houses up to 150 boats for both sales and storage. A very efficient park and launch service operates from the yard for up to 100 boats, 7-days-a-week. Your boat is given a designated space in the secure compound and then launched and retrieved by our tractors at your request, simple as that, absolutely no hassle or stress to yourself and your crew. New & Used Boat Sales Our sales area consists of a 2000 sq ft indoor showroom and a display forecourt for around 50 boats. The company has 7 berths on the marina situated in a prominent position, for demonstration models and promotions. Blue Water Marine has been the sole importer of Chaparral boats from Nashville Georgia USA, for the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland since 1990 and has been awarded many accolades for outstanding sales achievements. Blue Water Marine also holds main dealerships for Yamaha Marine products, Mercury, Mercruiser and Volvo sterndrive engines, and most recently Mercruiser Cummins diesel engines. A very comprehensive range of products are in stock at any one time from Chaparral sports boats and cruisers, Yamaha Waverunners, Quicksilver and Sun Sport inflatable’s, through to Yamaha and Mercury outboard engines. A full range of wet suits, buoyancy aids, water skis and toys are also on show. There is always a wide choice of brokerage boats for sale. Blue Water Marine offers a friendly and relaxed way of purchasing your new or pre owned boat. Service & Accessories The chandlery and parts department has extensive stock of all service and maintenance parts and accessories from a spark plug through to a complete outdrive unit. The friendly staff have the knowledge to source your needs. The workshops carry an extensive set of specialised tooling along with computerised analysing technology. All types of work can be undertaken from a simple gel coat and fibreglass repairs to a hull, or a full engine rebuild and refit. No job too big or too small.
