About our logo
Built by William Woodall at Baltimore, Maryland in 1872 she carried lumber and coal coastwise, logwood and pineapples from the Bahamas and local produce, grain and oysters on The Bay. She was converted to power in 1941 and later dredged surf clams in the Atlantic. The "SARAH C." was lost off the New Jersey coast in 1986 without loss of life. This drawing was made in 1978 by the late John Moll, of Oxford, Md. at the request of Johnson Fortenbaugh, Jr. to serve as the logo for Eastern Shore Yacht Brokerage.
