48' Roberts Pilot House Trawler

Designed by Bruce Roberts and custom-built of 1008 steel by Reichman Welding Company, this is one of the finest steel trawlers this broker has seen. The design objectives called for a stable, efficient hull with accomodation for a couple to cruise indefinitely and room for an additional two people for extended periods. The 260 HP American Marine(Ford)Diesel(with auxiliary "get home" engine and generator...plus bow thruster) gives her a cruising range in excess of 1600 nautical miles! The large, handsome pilot house has a full array of electronics and a pilot berth. There is secondary control station topside. Interior joinery is beautifully fitted satin-varnished teak and provides a most attractine and functional environment. MANY recent upgrades have prepared this boat for extensive passage making.
