Van Draper is the senior managing partner of Elliott Bay Yacht Sales. After retiring from a successful career as treasurer of a Fortune 500 Company, Van pursued his real passion - BOATING! For several years, he & wife Nancy cruised "Blaze", (a Warwick 60' cold molded sloop). After several cruising seasons in Mexico and Hawaii, they ultimately came back to the best cruising in the world - the Pacific Northwest Islands. You will find Van in our offices at Elliott Bay, or enjoying the cruising lifestyle on their boat, "Hattitude" (a 43' Hatteras). He welcomes anyone to come in & talk about boats & the cruising lifestyle.

Paul Jenkinsis a Northwest native with a broad background of boating experience, both power and sail. Paul has taught sailing, performed charter checkouts, has commissioned yachts, and managed Windward Mark/Cal Marine, a local marine supply store. As a sixteen year liveaboard, Paul extensively cruised and sailed the Northwest, and has also sailed the West Coast and Mexico. Paul has been with EBYS for over 15 years, and as the manager and partner, takes pride in finding creative ways to put deals together.

Bob Pistay grew up in Southern California and has been enjoying sailing since the age of 8. An avid racer on everything from dinghies to maxi boats, Bob's experiences include: Trans Pac, Puerto Vallarta, ORC, Cabo, IRC National Championships, The Caribbean Circuit, Key West Race Week, Big Boat Series, Swan World Cup in Sardinia, Etchells Worlds, Melges 24 Worlds and many Swiftsure races.
Bob has been a career sailmaker for over 35 years working for North Sails and most recently Quantum Seattle & definitely sees the technical side of sailing. Since 1983, Bob has been sharing his vast sailing knowledge with the Pacific Northwest racing and cruising boat owners. As Bob says, "Helping clients excel at their passion has been one of my reasons for being in the marine industry. I firmly believe that with my knowledge base of both Sail and Power I can help buyers and sellers come together in a unique way."
Bob shares his love for boating with his two grown sons who are very active in sailing and who also work in the marine industry.

Susan Bartlett,was raised on Mercer Island and has always been drawn to the water. Growing up, when not in school, rain or shine she and her brother headed to the beach armed with a packed lunch for a day of swimming and water skiing. After a successful banking career, in 1997 Susan was offered a job into the boating industry and has enjoyed every minute. Susan has worked mainly with larger power boats through the years. Susan has joined Elliott Bay Yacht Sales helping with all aspects of running the office, working with the internet and Yacht World, as well as assisting with showing and listing boats as needed. Susan is happy to be back at beautiful Elliott Bay Marina, chatting with many friends and acquaintances she has gotten to know over the years!

Nancy Draper, is an avid boater with extensive cruising experience, both power and sail. Before joining the team in October '08, she enjoyed cruising on their 60’ Warwick sloop in both Mexico and Hawaii. She and husband Van currently enjoy cruising the Pacific Northwest when not in the EBYS office. Nancy’s experience in financial & real estate brokerage is a great asset in helping manage the back office, closings, managing internet communication and Yachtworld specs, as well as assisting in both print and internet marketing. Nancy currently enjoys cruising on her and Van’s 43’ Hatteras, kayaking, SCUBA diving (in warm water!), and both cross country and downhill skiing.
