During 2006 the principle behind Charter Yachts Phuket Co., Ltd. was looking for a replacement for his recently sold 82ft yacht. Drawing on his extensive contacts in the maritime industry in Asia it was not long before he decided to commission a new build from a new shipyard in Taiwan - New Ocean Yachts Co., Ltd..

New Ocean Yachts Co., Ltd. is based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in a fully purpose built shipyard on two separate sites. The yard has extensive backing and is headed up by qualified Naval architect Jason Kao who's experience stems from many years working with the industry leaders such as Horizon, Kha Shing, Monte Fino and Hargraves to name a few.
