COMPLETE LAYOUT
ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT:
This popular sport fisherman has been highly customized and sleeps six in one stateroom and convertible dinette. Beginning forward, the standard V-berth with filler to make a large queen berth. Also, tow quarter berths above. There is storage below, both center, port, and starboard. Quilted coverlets with custom covers and matching valance boards on the hull sides. Two 12- Volt high florescent lighting. Hull sides are covered with vinyl wallpaper. Stereo speaker forward, centerline hatch with hinged bug screen, overhead rod holders, and custom installed for eight rods.

The port is the head with full size shower and teak seat. Sink, vanity, mirror, and electric head with Y-valve for holding tank and over board discharge. Entire head area is fiberglass and gelcoated, with 12-volt over head recessed lighting. To starboard and aft is a cedar-lined hanging closet with Sony color TV/VCR with cable and a antenna TV hook-up.

Just aft is a large U-shaped dinette with storage below, color coordinated drapes, padded valances, teak shelf and recessed flourescent lighting. The dinette table converts into a large berth. Overhead is white vinyl head liner with recessed flourescent lights.

Farthest aft on the bulkhead is the electrical panel behind a dark plexiglass panel. Just forward is a custom instrument access with intercom remote speaker, custom halogen lighting, and access to the instrument panel. In centerline, there is a hatch accessing storage above. On the aft bulkhead is a AM/FM stereo cassette with graphic equalizer by Maxxima and CO2 detector.

GALLEY/LAUNDRY:
Galley is located to port and aft of the head is refrigerator/ freezer. Whirlpool microwave, Princess two burner stove, stainless steel sink, Custom six bottle wine rack, and plenty of storage below and above.

DECK AND HULL:
 
Anchor, Coast Guard Safety Package, Fiberglass deck, Fresh/saltwater washdown system, Fenders and lines, Custom international navigation lights. Three mile Perco, Hull color is white, Aluminum bow rail, Four side enclosures, Insulated with extra insulation in fish box with split hatch, Generator hatch has been sealed to prevent leaking, there is oversized side access in cockpit for access to generator, double insulation in the engine room with Micarta cover, all exposed teak has been painted with Imron. Transon door, under gunnel spring hook for gaff, cleaning brush and tag stick, under gunnel electric connection for electric reel for downrigger, custom fore and aft covers, two custon Sunbrella covers for helm stations, tower and main, custom covers for seats, four drink holders, and five coats of Intercept 2000 blister barrier applied prior to first bottom paint when new.

The marlin tower was custom designed for easy use and care. The buggy hardtop has antenna mounts and spreader lights on dimmers. Instrument box has full controls. Engine, temperature, and oil pressure gauges and trim tab with Sitex VHF and Loran and Robertson AP300 remote. 12V plug-in custom detachable tower seat. Six custom rod holders on tower and three rod holders on starboard tower leg. The hard top has relocated custom navigation lights, International navigation lights, and two Lewmar low profile ventilation hatches. Four spreader lights with dimmer switches. AFI insulated windshield wipers and pantograph arms and and heavy duty blades. Two-sided enclosure with large U-zip on either side. Two overhead red and white dome lights.


ELECTRICAL:

12V DC and 110/220V AC power, New Westerbeke 8kw generator with approx. 20 hours, two batteries and battery box, 3 amp automatic and manual battery charger, Dockside electrical cables 2 x 30 amp., Battery parallel switch, two bilge blowers, two automatic bilge pumps, Bonded electrical system, color coded wiring system, Dual air horns, Engine alarm system, Engine hour meter, how water heater 120V, Automatic water pressure - hot and cold, Recessed 12V lighting, Four quartz halogen lights on dimmer, Cockpit courtesy lights, deckhouse overhead lights, Red/ White navigation overhead lights, Engine 12V fluorescent engine room lights, and cable TV/ phone connection.

ELECTRONICS:
The primary helm station has a unique custom instrument box housing electronics as well as instrument gauges. There is corresponding instrumentation on the Marlin tower instrument box. Maxxima AM/FM cassette stereo with two cabin speakers and two waterproof Pioneer speakers on bridge deck behind custom matching covers.  Sony color TV/VCR Furuno FCV-522 color sounder, Furuno RP-100 radar plotter, Dart 4 2000 with remote in tower (240-230), site VHF in tower, Furuno 36-mile 1930 radar with open array, Furuno GP-50-GPS, Icom M125 VHF, Sitex XJ-1 Loran in tower, Shakespeare TV antenna, Robertson AP300DL autopilot with remote AP00 in tower, C02 detector, cellular phone antenna, 2 Shakespeare VHF high DB antennas, Cable/TV phone wiring.

MECHANICAL/ENGINE ROOM:

Twin 3208 Caterpillar 375 HP turbo-charged diesels with airseps located under bridge deck which is accessed through a center hatch or by electric lifts which raise the bridge deck for easy access to the entire engine room. Racor fuel filters,  engine and generator oil transfer system, emergency engine-driven bilge pump, Glendinning synchronizers, engine room has double insulation with Micarta cover, two fire extinguishers, fiberglass mufflers, Halon fire extinguisher system, Hydraulic steering, Nibral propellers, raw water and intake strainers, water- injected bronze shaft logs, Bennett trim tabs with remote control on Marlin tower, Vibration-dampening engine mounts, High water alarm, and reverse cycle air conditioning.

FISHING EQUIPMENT:

Marlin tower with rod holders, Maurray Brothers fiberglass rocket launcher on aluminum base which will fit Murray Brother chair, 32' Double spreader Rupp outriggers with gold spreaders, and seating is on two large fore and aft seats with tackle lockers and storage on each with Marquip folding foot rest with tread port and starboard.

This vessel is a unique opportunity to own on of the finest Express Sportfisherman available. This is one of the last 37' Topaz yachts build by OMC topaz. She has a new hull design and additional lifting strakes. Built in 1991, she was purchased and outfitted in 1993 and has been highly customized from the highly functional and user-friendly Marlin tower to helm station with custom instrument box. The teak coverboards, bow pulpit and trim have been painted with Imron for low maintenance.
