Accommodations
This interior is beautifully, yet simply finished using lots of teak with white overhead and white accents. Ventilation is excellent, with lots of opening ports and hatches.
The layout is traditional, beginning with a V-berth stateroom forward. Hanging lockers and other storage is provided. The saloon is next aft and has an L-shaped settee to starboard that converts to a double berth, a bulkhead mounted teak dining table and a straight settee to port. The table may be folded up against the bulkhead when not in use. Just aft of the main saloon, to starboard, one finds the large head compartment, complete with marine toilet, sink, telephone type shower and good storage. The galley is opposite. Aft of the head compartment is a hanging locker and a proper nav station with a chart table large enough for a paper chart. There is plenty of room for built in electronics. To port is a large double berth that can be closed off for privacy.

Comments
Dickersons were built in a lovely boatyard here on the Chesapeake Bay, using only the best materials and the best of the Eastern Shore craftsmen. Ferenc Mate gives the Dickersons, and the Dickerson 37' in particular, a wonderful write up in his book The World's Best Sailboats.
