The vessel's hull, deck and house were fabricated by Buck Smith, Costa Mesa, CA in 1980. Interior, exterior finishing, mechanical and electrical installations were beautifully executed over 3 years by a fine group of electricians, mechanics and shipwrights under the direction and consultation of Ted Elliott of Elliot Yachts, Ed Monk, Jr. and the owner. No expense was spared. She was launched in 1983 and has been captain maintained ever since with cruises to Mexico and the California area.
