Lazee Gal is a custom 63' Grenfell motor yacht. She was commissioned by a Vancouver businessman in the early 1950's. Her owner approached legendary boat builder Thornton Grenfell requesting him to build a large yacht with lines similar to the small mahogany runabouts Grenfell was currently building.
She has a semi-displacement hull built of double-planked mahogany over oak frames that measures 62' 4" LOA. She is powered by reliable twin GM 6-71 diesels that provide her with a top speed of 17 knots.
Lazee Gal, often referred to as "the prettiest boat in the harbour", had been owned and kept in pristine condition by the same family for over forty years.
This is a unique opportunity for an individual or corporation to own a piece of British Columbia's yachting history. Lazee Gal's graceful lines have been admired by everyone who sees her.
She is currently in "turn key" condition and available to view by serious buyers.
