"Promises" is an impeccable example of one of the most highly regarded cruising yachts ever made.  She is hull #1461 of a grand total of 1,560 Grand Banks' 42s made since production first began in 1965.  Kept predominantly on the brackish waters of the Chesapeake Bay her current owners purchased "Promises" from us back in 2007.  They have maintained the boat with an open checkbook, have full records and she is ready for her next owner to get right on board and enjoy!

Powered by the twin 375hp CAT 3208's, "Promises" benefits from the most preferred engine package for those seeking reliability, economy, and the flexibility to actual pick up and run if weather or scheduling dictate the need.  At 34,900lbs she cruises quite efficiently and comfortably between 8 and 12 knots and at wide open throttle she will see speeds reaching 18 knots.
