A well-built boat with plenty of sex appeal, the Formula 34 PC has been a popular boat for Thunderbird since her introduction back in 1991. Like all of Formula's PC designs, shes built on a constant deadrise deep-V hull with moderate beam and solid fiberglass construction. The midcabin interior will sleep six and comes with an island berth in the forward stateroom and convertible facing settees in the aft cabin. Both staterooms have privacy curtains, and a bi-fold door in the head isolates the shower from the vanity. On deck, a triple-wide companion seat is opposite the helm and the entire aft section of the cockpit can be turned into a giant sunken sunpad. Additonal features include well-secured sidedecks, a molded bow pulpit, transom shower, foredeck sunpad, and a cockpit wet bar. Always considered a stern-drie model, V-drive inboards were optional (but never all that popular) from 1994-99. A good performer, twin 7.4 litre Volvo or MerCruiser stern drives will cruise the 34 PC at 23-24 knots (about 36 knots top). Cruising speeds with twin 7.4 litre inboards are a few knots slower.
