This Hunter 50AC is an ocean passage maker capable of taking you wherever you wish. Gen set for great fuel conservation when charging the batteries; deep V in the hull that contains the up graded 110HP Yanmar, 12.5KW Gen set, 3 water tanks, 160 Gallons of fuel, 3 sets of 8D house AGM batteries, all well below the water line combine for a stiff sailing platform that provides safety and comfort for up to 6 to 8 people for long distance cruising. The saloon table converts to a queen sized double as well as the Port Side Berth can act as a single.

The Owner berth forward is a centerline queen and has separate shower and Head for the utmost in cruising comfort.

The table has a pull out stool (With Storage) so that as many as 7 to 8 people can dine in comfort.

The galley has a 3-Burner range with oven, Microwave, double SS sinks, 4 fridges (Two of which can double as freezers). a wine cooler, Coffee maker (Not installed as yet), Range hood, dish dryer and loads of storage.

The two aft cabins are spacious and have queen sized berths. Hanging lockers and plenty of storage abound in both cabins as well as the rest of the boat has unparalleled storage.

The nav. station has a full set of switches for both 110 Volt and 12V systems (a upgrade from the Previous Hunter 49). The boat has a Gen set, an inverter as well as a high output alternator so you will never be without power and easy charging ability.

Above decks at the bow there is a twin bow roller suitable for primary and secondary anchoring systems. Just aft is a storage or sail loft capable of holding a number of spare sails at an easy grasp or a set of folding bikes.

The boat comes with the 110% over lapping head sail with furling and this boat also sports a self-tacking staysail that can add extra sail area in light air areas or serves as a storm sail in heavy weather conditions. Sailing short-handed and the stay sail will self-tack making short-handed sailing and tacking a breeze.

The cockpit sports a very large table capable of seating up to 6 or more. The cockpit coaming acting as seat backs is high, safe and comfortable. Twin wheels, bow thruster, power winches, autopilot make the Hunter 50AC stand out for its easy of handling and safety.

Davits (an Option and capable of approximately 550 LBS) can be easily added as can a full enclosure (also an option).

The current Dodger is LEXAN with SS Fore and Aft hand rails and the dodger top has a storage pocket to be able to store the LEXAN from the windshield flat.
