The NEW 48 SYMBOL Classic Pilothouse Fast Trawler was developed for navigators wanting the advantages of a pilothouse with the ability to travel at higher speeds. The additional speed allows more distance that you can travel during daylight hours, avoid bad weather or an on board emergency. A fast cruiser can go slow with a similar fuel burn of a slow trawler, but a slow trawler cannot go fast.

Forward and aft, thrusters with wireless remote control make your docking easy. This semi-displacement hull will accommodate single or twin diesels, providing the owner with performance (up to 20 kts) and range.

The custom wood interior provides the luxury of satin finished teak wood with the excellent joinery that SYMBOL is known for.
Covered cockpit, forward deck and fly bridge are designed to afford more outdoor space for entertaining or relaxing with your family. Easy cockpit entrance to the engine room keeps the interior cleaner.
The semi wide-body design projects a saloon of a much larger yacht. With a wide sliding door the cockpit becomes your extension of the saloon, large windows provide maximum light. The gourmet galley open to the saloon features a spacious "U" shaped design "Corian" counter top, spacious storage cabinets and full size appliances.

Quiet amidships full beam owner's stateroom with an island queen size berth, en-suite head with separate shower. Forward staterooms features four single berths or a double berth, hanging lockers, drawers and storage lockers. The stateroom passageway features a guest head to port and unique separate shower area to STBD. Staterooms and heads have more than ample storage.

The raised pilothouse is your center of activity while under way, we have incorporated several design features: P & S sliding doors by Diamond Sea Glaze, easy access interior teak stairs to fly bridge, raised "L" shaped settee/berth with storage below, teak table, comfortable helm seat, large counter top navigation area P & S, large low profile electronics console, overhead console and large windows provide you with a perfect view.
