"Mimi" is a well cared for Bristol Channel Cutter ( Sam Morse version ) The present owner is meticulous with his maintenance ( particularly the bright work and the wood work; both hatches and the rudder were professionally rebuilt ). The previous owner was 79 years old and spent quite a few $ making the boat easier for him to single hand ( he installed a Schaefer boom furler and five bronze Harken self-tailing winches which allows him to reef or furl all three sails without leaving the cockpit ). Recently a new Scanmar self-steering system has been installed.
