"Connie B" is a clean, well-loved example of the popular (and difficult to find) Com-Pac 19. Sailed through the years by several loving owners, she looks great for her age! She was extensively refitted in 2005 and her rig was modified with the Mastendrâ„¢ quick rig sailing system seen on the Com-Pac Eclipse. This allows you to leave the main sail and sail cover in place while allowing you to lower the rig with the built-in stainless steel hinge. She has an 8hp. Honda outboard (purchased in 2005) & high thrust prop ensure that you never run out of power when the wind fades. Included with the boat is a 2005 single axle Performance trailer. The Com-Pac 19 was designed by Bob Johnson, N.A. and is a very well designed craft. The Com-Pac tradition of style and function is exemplified in the Com-Pac 19. Below, there are comfortable 6-foot 4-inch berths for four with full sitting headroom. There is also a discrete area for a portable head, plenty of storage under the V-berth, and a chain locker. Finishing off the interior with bronze opening ports and a lavish use of hand-crafted wood trim makes the Com-Pac 19 a truly state-of-the-art yacht. Topside, there is a large cabin hatche, additional storage under seat lockers in the self-bailing cockpit, and a gas tank storage compartment. High-backed cockpit seats and walk around deck space make her an ideal family cruiser. She has an aluminum kick-up rudder and a six-stay stainless steel standing rig with single lowers for ease of raising and lowering the aluminum spar. The hull and deck are fabricated of hand-laid fiberglass with the hull having longitudinal and transverse stringers integrated into it for stiffness. The deck has core material over 100 per cent of its surface for rigidity and insulation. When it comes to performance the Com-Pac 19 is thrilling. The shoal-draft keel developed from NASA low-drag, high-lift wing sections and the masthead/bowsprit sail plan combine to give delightful sailing characteristics.
