This flush decked ocean cruising cutter, an FD-12 (hull 23 of 24), has a hull and deck built by Ta Yang in 1982 and finished professionally in the USA in 1983 and 1984. She has been ocean cruised seasonally she was launched and has received some notoriety for her trips to some rather remote areas. She is in outstanding condition and could be taken anywhere in the world just as she sits, except for provisions and personal gear. Having just returned from a few years in Nova Scotia, she awaits your inspection. She is hauled out now for winter, but first in line so she can be launched easily.

"Vacilando's" interior is unusually spacious due to her generous accommodations of a two cabin layout. Her 7' berth length and 6'5" headroom is exceptional. Her current Owner has professionally made her extra bright, airy and comfortable below. She’s also quite capable of serving the long range sailor's needs with renewed and reliable systems, generous tankage and refrigeration while providing safe short handed sailing capability.
She's received considerable systems and equipment upgrade benefits over the last few years. Mechanical and electrical systems have been replaced and added with dependable modern equipment making "Vacilando" fully found and ready for cruising. She's now brighter in comparison to other Tayana's with a new off-white "fauix planked" headliner throughout the interior including all new halogen dome and puck style accent lighting throughout. Her salon now provides a more open and spacious appearance with new panels and shelving outboard.
