"Bluebill" is a shoal draft example of this very popular Bristol Yacht model. The Bristol 33.3s were introduced in the late 80s and only 9 were built. Known as being a relatively stiff boat, they equal the sailing performance of the 35.5s, however, offer a comfortable and spacious layout below decks, with the benefit of more room and beam in the "T-shaped" cockpit.

KINJA is reported to be the last C. Raymond Hunt designed Cal 33-2 ever built. She is the only one built by Bristol Yachts in Rhode Island. Consequently, she is arguably the stoutest and strongest Cal 33-2 ever built.
