Accommodations The companionway takes you down past the interior steering station into the main salon which has 6' 6" head room, lots of storage, a table for six, comfortable seating and the navigation center in the aft port corner. Aft of the main salon on the starboard side is the galley. Across from the galley on port is a full marine head and a separate walk-in shower with about 6' 4" headroom. Aft of the galley and shower is the master cabin. It has 6' 5" headroom and a standard size double bed with an air mattress with a pillow cover. There are two closets (his and hers) each about eight feet long. There is also a six drawer dresser and a diesel heater. Forward of the main salon on port is another separate walk-in shower with 6' 4" headroom. Across from the shower on starboard is the laundry area and another full marine head. Forward of these there are two more private sleeping cabins, one on port and one on starboard. All the way forward in the vessel is a workshop with standing headroom along with access to the chain locker. There are two separate ten gallon hot water heaters on the vessel, one forward and one aft. |

Engine and Generator Engine is the Gray Marine Detroiy Diesel 6-71 Engine hour meter showes 1717 hours Engine is rated at 136 hp at 1200 rpm and 205 hp at 1800 rpm Mamufacturer recommends maximum rpm under load to be 2100 rpm 6-71 means the engine is six cylinders with 71 cubic inches per cylinder therefore displacement is 426 cubic inches (6x71). Series 71 engines were produced from the 1930's to the 1990's. Compression is 18.7 to 1 Background information on Detroit Diesel: Series 71 engines were produced in one-, two-, three-, four- and six-cylinder versions, all in in-line configurations. In the 1950s, Series 71 engines in V configurations were introduced in six-, eight-, 12- and 16-cylinder versions. The engine's configuration is indicated in its name, so a 6-71 is an in-line six-cylinder engine, while a 6V-71 is a V-6. Suffixes appended to the name indicate when an engine is equipped with turbochargers, intercoolers or Roots-type blowers; a 6-71TIB engine features all of this equipment.
