OVERVIEW

With her custom teak joinery, fastidious maintenance and over-the-top equipage, GORGEOUS GIRL must be ranked among the premier examples of this famous Crealock/Pacific Seacraft collaboration.

Over $80,000 has been invested recently in electronics and other upgrades. The cost of a new PS-40 with similar equipment would exceed $650,000. Among her accolades, she was first-in-fleet in a recent Marion to Bermuda race.

The spacious interior layout includes berths for seven with a double berth in the quarter cabin to starboard, a convertible dinette to starboard in the main salon (with a settee/berth opposite) and a V-berth in the forward cabin. Plenty of light and ventilation is provided by 14 opening ports (with screens), 2 dorades and 4 SS hatches. The engine room (accessible aft of the companionway ladder through the gasketed cockpit sole hatch) is well insulated for noise and heat. The aft stateroom features full standing & sitting headroom for easy dressing and maneuverability, a large cedar-lined hanging locker and a mirrored forward bulkhead. The head compartment, aft to port, has a vanity sink with generous storage, a wet locker and a luxurious and modern full size shower compartment.

The navigation station, forward of the head, has an oversized desk for spreading out charts and storing material, a leather seat (with a locker underneath) and spacious locker space under the desk. The U-shaped galley (see below), just opposite the nav station, is designed with ample drawer and locker storage, deep centerline sinks and Corian counters for easy food preparation while underway or at dockside. The main salon has a solid teak dinette table with a detachable folding leaf (which extends to the port settee). The table can be lowered for use as a double bunk. The forward stateroom provides a quiet spacious double berth and plenty of room to stow personal items, including two cedar lined hanging locker as well as a three drawer bureau and lockers under the berth.

Unique custom (satin varnished w/gloss trim) joinery and her gloss varnished teak & holly sole complemented by custom ultrusuede upholstery throughout her interior make "Gorgeous Girl" truly a relaxing, warm and comfortable yacht. A MarineAir 16k btu air conditioning system with reverse cycle heat and seven Hella fans make her a comfortable year-round yacht as well.
