Performance

Performance with ease of handling is the cornerstone of the vessel. Designed specifically with the short-handed crew in mind, one of the secrets to the ease with which the hull glides through the water is the water line beam to hull depth ratio. By creating less drag, a smaller rig can be employed. Smaller sails mean less work for the crew and more time available to enjoy a more comfortable passage without compromising performance. The sleek and efficient canoe body shaped hull conceals a deceptively spacious interior. An interior which works well both at sea and in port. The boat does not compartmentalize the interior with small individual cabins. Instead, we concentrate on a commodious open plan central living area with spacious accommodations for the owners, their family and guests. Safety, speed, comfort and the ability to travel in a civilized style with the  minimum of maintenance are features that are incorporated in the design from the beginning.

Safety

The primary criteria in this yacht is safety. From initial conception to sea trials, the one important issue that is never varied and never compromised is safety. It is the single most important element built into the LM 70. From the design of the hull, construction and displacement to the size of the rig, deck layout and handling characteristics safety is considered.  This yacht incorporate fore and aft watertight bulkheads to resist possible damage from collision with another vessel or striking a submerged container. In this LM 70, you can take comfort in the strength of the yacht’s hull, keel and bilges. On deck, there are a host of safety features, like the hefty 30-inch high lifelines and knee high grab rails on the fore deck. Safety all around for a real sense of safety. It is comforting to know that everything has been done to make your yacht as safe and seaworthy as possible.
