Accommodations

The interior of the Hans Christian is finished in full satin finish varnished teak with a varnished teak and holly sole;   Sleeping four in two private staterooms, plus two in the main salon. Interior joinerwork is all satin varnished teak, with solid teak and holly cabin soles.  Numerous stainless steel hatches and portholes provide exceptional light and ventilation, further accentuated by 12 volt cabin fans throughout.  When natural ventilation is insufficient there is a 30,000 btu reverse cycle (heats & cools) air conditioning system as well as a hydronic heating system.

Starting forward is the Guest Stateroom.  This guest cabin features a large double berth to port with settee to starboard.  There is a large hanging locker to starboard and numerous drawers and lockers throughout this cabin.  A private head and shower is located forward of the guest cabin.  There is also a pass through opening between salon and guest cabin that can be closed for privacy.  Heads are white Formica with varnished teak trim, green marble counters and Grohe soap dispensers and faucets.

The spacious raised Main Salon includes an L-shaped dinette to port with lockers and shelving outboard. To starboard is a full-length settee with bookshelves, lockers, hinged flat screen TV and entertainment systems outboard.  Main Salon is richly appointed with leather upholstery.  There are also two fold-up captain's chairs with leather upholstery for occasional use at dining table.

Just aft of the Main Salon to port is a surprisingly large Galley with generous counter space and numerous storage lockers.

Opposite to starboard is a full Navigation Station with forward facing seat and all ship's electrical panels and functions within easy reach.

The Master Stateroom aft features a centerline king-sized berth with a bureau countertop on each side.  There is a large hanging locker and an abundance of drawers and storage lockers.  A second head and shower stall is to starboard with access from both the stateroom and the main salon.  A wet locker is inboard in the shower compartment.

Hull and Deck

The Hull is molded in solid GRP with Kevlar reinforcement and balsa core above the waterlines.  The hull is finished in Deep Green Awlgrip with custom white/green/white boot top.   Vinylester resin is on first two layers of lamination.  Externally bolted lead keel and epoxy barrier coats on the bottom with black ablative anti-fouling.

Fiberglass decks with balsa coring and two tone finish white with molded in gray non-skid.  Generous center cockpit with "walk thrus" port and starboard.  Substanstial stainless steel grab rails assist with ease of transit fore and aft in heavy weather.

 The Hans Christian 4750 is designed with innumerable detailed features among them is the "crash zone" forward in which a double hulled section re-inforced with kevlar was built into the boat.  We mention it below but please do call for the builder brochure with details over 50 unique features that make the Hans Christian 4750 stand above the rest when it come to extended offshore cruising.

Deep Green was not commissioned until Spring, 2003 and has been carefully maintained by a discriminating owner and continuously upgraded.
