The yacht will be built in accordance with the rules and regulations of  Lloyds Register of Shipping for yachts and issued with a +100A1 SSC Yacht Mono G6 (+)LMC UMS certificate. (UMS stands for unmanned engine room certification.) The yacht will also be built to comply with the MCA code of practice for charter yachts carrying up to 12 passengers <500 gross tonnes and do not carry cargo (LY2). At handover the yard will furnish a Builders Certificate.  Hakvoort will perform all tasks necessary to get the proper approvals and will attend all meetings necessary at no extra costs to the Owner. Registration of the yacht will be done by Owner.

Naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design and tank testing are included in this quotation. Fee for exterior stylist (Claydon Reeves Design) is not included in this quotation. Hakvoort will produce all necessary scale 1:10 interior shop drawings to fabricate and install the luxury and crew interior.

Hull will be made of Lloyds approved steel, with transom stern, straight bow and four watertight bulkheads. Material specifications:

Steel: Lloyds approved Grade A steel.

Aluminium:  Plating: 5083-H116, 5083-H323 (AlMg4,5Mn)

Extruded sections: 6061-T6 (AlMgSi1)

Welding: 5183

Main Engines:

Two Caterpillar main engines, model C18 Acert, engine rated power 685 kW at 2100 Rpm per engine connected to a bolted on gearbox make ZF or Reintjes gearbox with a reduction ratio of 4,5:1.

Engine control system Marex OS for bridge control, flybridge control and two wing stations and local control in the ER.

 * Note: this engine type at this rating can only be supplied with Lloyds type approval.

Generators:

Two Kilopack Diesel generators, type 80EOZD rating 80 KW at 60 Hz, 1800 Rpm, 120/208 V 3 phase. Generators to be installed in sound shield boxes.

An Exendis 90 KVA  shore power converter is included. Shore 25m x 2 power cords will be on Glenndenning cable reels.

Propellers:

Make van Voorden with 5 blades, dynamically balanced and finished to class I.

Steering system:

Tenfjord double acting ram type hydraulic steering type JR-130.

Bowthruster:

A 60 KW electrically driven bowthruster make Jastram type BU10,  at 1800 rpm  installed in a watertight compartment in the foreship. Heating, ventilation and lights in this compartment are included.

Stabilizers:

Quantum zero speed fin stabilisers, size of fins / type to be determined depending on final calculated GM, hydraulic unit to be installed in the ER. Fin actuators to be installed in watertight compartments, properly insulated against noise.

Watermakers:

Two Sea Recovery watermakers type Aquamatic 1800 with a capacity of 1800 gpd each.

A sea recovery pre filter unit and silver ioniser to be installed.

Passerelle:

Passerelle to be make Cramm, type Ocean Reef, single telescopic unit overall width to be 0,80 meter, walking surface to be 0,60 meter, teak planked. Length outside box in yacht to be 5,0 meter. Cable for ships bel, lighting and two sides stainless steel railing is included. Passerelle will be manual and radio remote controlled.

Deckcrane:

One hydraulically operated single beam overhead crane make Cramm in the aftpeak tender store, safe working load1500 lbs.

On the foredeck an electro hydraulically operated  Besenzoni deckcrane with a safe working load for and MCA MOB boat of 660 lbs . For non MOB boat purposes the SWL is 1320 lbs

Project CR-40 has 5 staterooms with full beam on deck master; his and her bath, large wardrobe and office.
