"Island Muse" is a Pearson 424 fiberglass cutter built in 1983 in Portsmouth, RI. Auxiliary propulsion consists of a Westerbeke 54 hp diesel with v-drive. Forward below decks the anchor locker is followed by the vee-cabin with double berth and storage beneath. Next aft the forward head to port is followed by the u-shaped dinette that converts to a double berth. Back to starboard, a hanging locker and drawers are followed by a settee with storage beneath. The u-shaped galley with dual basin sink, 3 burner stove, reefer/freezer is followed by the navigation station. Back to port the aft head is followed by the electric windlass. Next aft the flush foredeck is followed by the trunk cabin surrounded by the side decks leading aft to the aft cockpit. Seating along each side with the wheel mounted on a binnacle in the center is followed by the helm seat. Access hatches on both sides provide access to storage lockers and steering gear is accessed through the helm seat hatch. A stainless steel radar arch is next with solar panels, antennas and stereo speakers.

The Pearson 424's sailing performance has been one of her charms since the day the first hull was launched. She has proven herself a blue water cruiser. "Island Muse" is loaded and ready to sail away.
