Additional Specs, Equipment and Information:

The Cape Dory 30 interior is finished in rich teak, and Heron's interior is varnished.

The forward cabin has 2 v-berths and a filler cushion to creat a double.  There are 2 opening ports and an overhead Bomar hatch for ventilation.  A door closes the cabin from the passageway to the head and main cabin.

Next aft is the head area.  Clsoing the doors on either side creates an athwartship compartment.  The toilet is to port, and a sink slides out over it as a vanity.  A hanging locker is on the starboard side.  2 opening ports and a dorade vent provide good ventilation.

The main cabin is next aft.  There are settee berths port and starboard wit the port berth sliding inboard to form a double berth.  A table mounts on two pedestals and stores in the hanging locker when not being used.

The galley surrounds the companionway, with an ice box to starboard, sink aft, and a 2 burner alcohol stove to port.  Numerous lockers provide good storage for food and cooking equipment.  There is pressure cold water at the sing and a manual foot operated pump as well.
