CONSTRUCTION

A strong yacht that is sleek and responsive. The hull is single unit molded Balsa cored bi-axial fiberglass with Kevlar hybrid laminate fibers and isophthalic gelcoat resins. The deck is single unit molded fiberglass laminate with alternate layers of hand-laid mat and roving, balsa cored unidirectional glass is stress areas. High load deck gear is fastened to aluminum and coremat backing plates. The keel is cast lead/antimony external ballast with S/S bolts to hull. It is elliptical in shape giving more ballast with less draft for amazing upwind performance.

INTERIOR

  • The interior is beautifully finished with hand-rubbed teak with a varnished teak and holly sole
  • Oiled teak ceilings, bulkheads and overhead handrails
  • Starting forward is the guest cabin with a 6’ 4” double V-berth and a small vanity with a washbasin
  • Storage is in the hanging locker and several cabinets.  In addition to the locking door to this cabin, there is a louvered door in the bulkhead for creating more open roomy feeling and ventilation
  • U-shaped settee to starboard with a straight settee to port.  Storage shelves and cabinet abound here.  The salon table is teak and the leaves fold down out of the way when not in use.  There is a liquor cabinet in the table.

  • The master stateroom is aft through the galley and features a fabulous 6’ 3” double centerline berth with surprisingly good standing room and plenty of space for stowing gear
  • The navigation station with a lift-up table is to port at the aft end of the salon.  Plenty of room for navigation and communication equipment, charts and a cut-out that can be used for an optional entertainment center
