Additional Specs, Equipment and Information:

The large and efficient Cockpit has a transom well, fighting chair, tackle lockers, offset Salon entry door and is set for serious fishing.

The Salon has an L shaped sofa aft to port with an entertainment center just forward of the main electrical panel on the starboard side.  A three person dinette is next forward.

Opposite to port is the Galley which is U shaped and open to the Salon aft. 

Steps to below lead to two over under bunk staterooms, one port, one starboard, which share a Head with shower.

The Master is all the way forward and has an island centerline berth plus a private Head with stall shower.

Salon

The Salon of THUMPER is entered from the starboard side.  Throughout the boat cross cut cherry joinery highlights the interior features and furnishings.  Immediately to starboard behind two cherry doors is the yacht’s main electrical panel and switch panel.  Next forward also behind cherry doors is a Sony 42" flat panel TV.  Another cherry door next forward conceals a U Line icemaker. 

Next forward is a three to four person Ultra Leather settee with storage below and an attractive granite table top on a cherry pedestal.  Furthest forward is a cabinet with an Sony AM/FM/CD/DVD receiver and a Dish Network Sat receiver as well as the yacht's KVH service point.

Next forward is a pullout storage shelf behind a cherry door.

To port as you walk in is an L shaped Ultra Leather settee with storage below.  Next forward is a two drawer built in end table and the aft section of the open Galley.

Also in the Salon are large side and aft windows all covered with Roman shades as needed. 

Overhead are 14 halogen mini spots and four stereo speakers.  The sole is carpeted.

Galley

The Galley is next forward on the portside.  Being open to the Salon creates a very spacious feeling.  Of note is the unusual granite countertops and backsplash.  There are no overhead cabinets over the aft part of the Galley, again contributing to the open feeling of this area.

Companionway

The Companionway is lined with Whisper Wall snakeskin panels with cross cut cherry stairs and handrail.

Two digital AC controllers are at the top of the steps.

The bottom three steps lift for storage.

Guest Cabin (Portside)

The Portside Guest Cabin has two over/under berths athwartships with cherry trim and cherry shelves to serve as nightstands.  Each berth has a reading light as well as the four halogen mini spots overhead. 

The sole is carpeted and there are both drawers (2) and a cedar lined auto lit hanging locker for storage.

Within this cabin behind a cherry door is a full size separate Bosch Axxis clothes washer and a Bosch Axxis clothes dryer.

Guest Head

The shared Guest Head is across the Companionway to starboard.  The cherry vanity has storage below and a Sandstone Corian countertop with flush sink above.  A cherry and mirrored medicine cabinet is above the sink.  The toilet is a Raritan Atlantees model.  The stall shower has a glass door with cherry trim.  The overhead is mirrored to create a very spacious feeling.

The sole is cherry and maple and there is one additional storage cabinet adjacent to the shower plus an exhaust fan.   

Guest Cabin (Starboard)

The Starboard Guest Cabin is actually open to the centerline Companionway and has slightly larger upper and lower berths going fore and aft outboard. 

Cherry shelves serve as nightstands.  Each berth has a reading light plus there are two drawers under the lower bunk.

Across the Companionway is a cedar lined auto lit locker with four cedar shelves which when the shelves are removed could serve as a hanging locker for the two starboard guest berths.

Master Stateroom

All the way forward is the Master Stateroom.  Immediately upon entering is a auto lit cedar lined locker with a shelf, a safe and a half height hanging locker.  The queen size pedestal berth is on centerline with an attractive cherry sea rail for the mattress as well as six cherry drawers below.  There are reading lights above the upholstered headboard with a very attractive curved cherry bulkhead all the way forward.

Both port and starboard have built in nightstands with four backlit cherry cabinets above to both port and starboard.  On each side is a cedar lined auto lit hanging locker for ample storage.

Two curved cherry steps at the hull side make berth access easier.

Above the berth is a Bomar deck hatch.  Aft is access to the private Head.  There are eight halogen mini spots above as well as digital AC controls and a carpeted sole.

Master Head

The Master Head has a cherry and maple sole and a mirrored overhead.

The cherry vanity has two door storage below and a Sandstone Corian countertop with flush sink above.  There is a cherry and mirrored two door medicine cabinet above the sink.  The toilet is a Raritan Atlantees model.

The shower has a clear glass door with cherry trim.  There is four halogen mini spot lighting as well as ample storage, an AC vent and an exhaust fan.

Comments

THUMPER just finished (12/12) a 1000 hour MAN engine service ($20,000).   Compression test results were well within factory specs between 285 - 300 psi on all 24 cylinders.  RPM's were 2380/2376, temps 180 degrees.

THUMPER then ran from NC to South Florida without incident cruising at 27 knots at 1875 RPM.

The Ice Blue hull, black window mask and clean Foredeck present a very striking appearance.

THUMPER represents one of the best values in from Blackwell Boatworks and stands apart from other custom Carolina Convertibles.
