DESCRIPTION CONSTRUCTION: This popular Dyer design underwent an extensive refit in 1999. A new Yanmar 230 HP diesel engine was installed and now has only 427 hours . All engine mounts were replaced in 2010. The interior was entirely rebuilt in 1999 with a completely new cabin house. The re-fit included all newly varnished teak windshield, toe rails, bow pulpit, coamings, custom stern seat, cockpit lockers, and teak cockpit sole. In addition, a custom engine box was built providing both forward and aft facing seating. The exterior was refinished in 2010. Complete fiberglass hull and top-sides refinished in Awlgrip in 2010. The hull is flag blue, decks are light tan with non-skid, and the bottom is green. ACCOMMODATIONS: ‘Leda’ has a full size V-berth with storage below. An enclosed head is to starboard with Jabsco electric toilet and holding tank system. The galley to port features an ice box, stainless sink, pressurized water and a Princess 2-burner propane stove. Double lockers outboard with storage locker below. Interior joinery is a tasteful mixture of teak and mahogany with overhead deck beams and grooved white formica. Light and ventilation are provided by four opening oval portholes and a butterfly hatch over v-birth.
