Additional Specs, Equipment and Information:

CONSTRUCTION:  Solid fiberglass hull (FRP) hand laid using unidirectional fabrics and stiffened with glassed in bulkheads, structural members, joinery flanges and fittings.  Hull is painted with Awlgrip , a navy blue bootstripe and blue bottom paint. The deck structure is of partially cored FRP over composite wood and plywood with applied non-skid surface in weather deck traffic areas.   

DECKS: Large self bailing cockpit with aft bench and custom cushions, SS bow pulpit with teak anchor platform and roller chock, transom mounted swim platform with boarding ladder and cockpit shower,  Flybridge bimini and Flybridge console cover.

STEERING: Hynautic IB 282/831 dual station steering

INTERIOR AND ACCOMODATIONS:  Interior has gloss varnished mahogany wood trim with off-white bulkheads. Main cabin and pilot house sole is of varnished teak and holy. She has a V-berth forward and just aft of that is the galley on the Port side with a two burner stove/oven, Norcold dual electric refrigerator and stainless steel sink. A fully enclosed head with shower, sink and hanging locker are to Starboard.  There are many lockers and shelves throughout the cabin for storage.  Ventilation in the forward cabin is provided by 6 opening ports and 3 deck hatches.   In the pilot house the helm is on the starboard side with a combination helm seat nav station aft and a custom varnished mahogany table. To port is a settee that folds out to a double bunk.  Cabin heat is provided by an Espar D4 cabin heater, Ample ventilation is provided through 8 opening portlights in pilot house.  All opening hatched and windows are equipped with screens.

COMMENTS: “Katherine” is a very well equipped ‘Downeast’ style cruiser, has received good care and some very good upgrades over the years. This is a very popular and nicely thought out yacht that is well built and finished to yacht standards. She has been well cared for and upgraded over the years and a recent survey is available.  She has been outfitted for extended comfortable cruising for two couples and offered at well below replacement cost.
