Defever 49 Pilothouse

The 49 DeFever Pilothouse cruiser features two staterooms and two heads, an ample salon open to the galley on the main deck and a raised pilothouse. The flying bridge offers plenty of seating and storage, and a high vantage point giving 360 degree visibility and an expansive boat deck aft.

The Master stateroom is located in the center of the vessel under the pilothouse, features large ?queen? sized bed and a generous private head with separate shower stall. Plentiful drawers, hanging lockers and storage cabinets provide all the space you?ll need for wardrobe and personal affects.

Forward of the master is a companion way with the spacious guest head to port, the stair up to the pilothouse to starboard and the guest cabin forward which is arranged as split level V berths with plenty of storage and lockers. The emergency escape hatch overhead in the guest cabin allows extra light and fresh air when desired.

The pilothouse is mission control and gives a real ship feel to the yacht. The helm is on center and offers great visibility and easy access to all of you navigation instruments. Side doors to the Portuguese bridge deck are port and starboard and a half stair up and aft to the boat deck and fly-bridge is to starboard. A half stair leads down and aft to the galley and salon. The large L shaped settee with table and watch berth give the pilothouse an inviting amount of space and provide for a comfortable social setting for owners and guests. New Bentley leather helm seat (06) is very nice.

Socializing, preparing meals and just lounging are comfortably enjoyed in the Galley / Salon area on the main deck aft of the pilothouse. The generous U-shaped galley offers plenty of counter space and lots of cabinet space both above and below the counters. A double stainless steel sink is located to port by the opening window, the stove is forward and the refrigerator and freezer are to starboard near the side entry door. The galley is open to the salon and keeps the chef involved in whatever entertainment that is underway. The Salon is bright and airy, offers plenty of seating and good visibility to the passing scenery. Double doors aft open to the spacious aft deck and expand the function and feel of this inviting space.

Above the pilothouse the flybridge is configured with a center helm station, chair, and two upholstered bench seats port and starboard offering comfort and great visibility for owners and guest. Surrounded with a stainless steel hand rail, the boat deck is equipped with a davit for the dinghy and is yet another great space for entertaining or just enjoying the weather. Barbeque included with 2 three gallon tanks of propane.
