Boat and Accessory Details The television has a built in DVD player. The boat is wired for coaxial cable TV use. There is a 25 gallon fresh water system. There is also a 28 gallon black water system with electric vacuum pump to eliminate hand pumping from the head. The head also has a full hot and cold water sink as well as a shower head. There is a hot water tank onboard and there is water on demand inside and outside of the cabin from the galley to the stern swim step shower for rinsing off before boarding the boat. There is an Isotherm dual voltage refrigerator with small freezer, a built in microwave, new updated controls, and galvanic monitors. It comes with a macerator, sliding door with screen, champagne interior, anchor with an electric windlass operated from inside the cockpit or at the bow, and 30 ft. of chain. It has a gas vapor detector and an automatic halon fire system in the engine room. It has a carbon monoxide detector in the main bedroom inside the cabin. The boat comes equipped with two 850 cranking amp batteries (new) and a deep cycle battery in excellent condition, along with dual battery selector switches. The boat has a AM/FM JBL radio with a six CD changer with speakers in the cockpit as well as in the cabin. This boat is totally self contained and is great as a weekender live-aboard or longer. I have personally spent 9 days on it stopping only to refuel and restock. The instrumentation is impressive with two depth finders, sonar, fish finder, Lowrance GPS which is programmable for your specific area to show the latest maps. Waypoints can be programmed and configured. There is also a VHS radio onboard. It is complete with all of the safety equipment required by law as well as other items for enjoying an outing including a spare anchor and rode. All of the necessary and expected electronics are on this boat with the exception of radar which can be added if needed. The boat has just been bottom painted so it will last for at least 5 years. This is an excellent boat for weekend cruising, barbecuing, sleeping aboard overnight and enjoying a day, weekend, or short vacation on the water. The boat has been meticulously maintained by its owner and is motivated to sell to the right person. This boat has been a sense of joy to its owner who lives in an exclusive gated community on Tellico Lake in the Knoxville area. BOAT HAS BEEN WINTERIZED. IT WILL NOT BE DE-WINTERIZED UNTIL APRIL. Remarks 2004 Signature 290 Chaparral Cruiser. The boat is 29 ft. long, 30.8 ft. L.O.A. with a beam of 10 ft. and was first put in the water and commissioned in March 2006. This boat is Yacht certified. The cockpit layout is accented with a mini-bar and built-in ice storage, wraparound seating and a double wide helm station. There is also a 5000 watt (5kw/5000w) Kohler generator for 110 volt electricity throughout the boat but it also has shore power with a 50 ft. chord. In the cabin there is space for six adults to spend the night onboard. This particular boat has all the options offered by Chaparral as well as many add-ons after purchase. It has a 10,000 BTU central air-conditioning and heating system with digital thermostat. The cabin has an electric dining table that lowers with a push of a button for V-birth bed use. It also has a bedroom for two aft of the V-birth. There is a step through windshield, a cockpit galley which serves as another dinette table, transom storage, port seating storage, and a port side seat with a chaise lounge. The engines are in the low 200 hrs, and the boat has always been kept in a covered slip on a fresh water lake. It has never been exposed to salt water. Its approximate DRY weight is 8500 lbs. with a fuel capacity of 115 gallons of gasoline. The horsepower of each engine is 260 for a combined total of 520 hp. The engines are the 5.0 MPI package with the Bravo 3 I/O package. Each outdrive has two opposing screws to eliminate torque, for a total of four screws. |
