Accommodations The spacious forward "V" master's cabin has 7' long and two berths with an extra-thick queen sized mattress, extra storage outboard, settee, hanging locker, opening ports and a butterfly hatch overhead which provides ample natural lighting and ventilation throughout. A generous amount of storage outboard and below the berths is also provided. The ensuite head compartment is just aft to port and features a separate full size stall shower with 6'4" headroom, vanity sink, toilet, and an opening port. As a reminder of the exquisite joinery throughout the yacht, the builder has hand carved a Tayana logo on the head door as a reminder of their world known craftsmanship and classic character. Opposite to stbd. is another large hanging locker with shelves for additional storage. Moving aft into the large salon, the 6' plus port side "L" shaped settee has bulk storage behind the back cushion, and matching the stbd. side are also finished open shelves outboard with individual overhead reading/accent lighting. The settee faces a large drop leaf dining table with storage inside and provides adequate seating for a total of six. Above, a flat screen TV is mounted on the main bulkhead for family viewing. To stbd in the salon as is on the port side, the upholstered settee makes up as a pullout double berth. Both settees have lee cloths which ensures them as being safe and comfortable offshore berths. The usual outboard lockers found above the settees on this model have been professionally rebuilt to provide open shelves with matching wood paneling. This feature makes a dramatic difference in the feeling of openness in the salon. The High Seas diesel heater is mounted on the main bulkhead behind the compression post as a welcoming reminder of optimum comfort for extending seasons or for use in cold climes while living aboard. The seagoing "U" shaped galley is located to stbd just aft of the salon yet convenient to both the companionway and salon dining table. A dish storage locker over the double sink serves to gently divide the two areas. Opposite to port is the full sized nav. station and upholstered seat with a chart table capable of handling full sized charts "half-folded". Above, another shelving divider gently separates the area from the salon. Aft of the nav. station is a large wet locker which adjoins another louvered door hanging locker to further complement adequate storage further aft. Under the inside of the companionway is the electrical panel and below is convenient engine access with swing-up steps. |

Galley The galley is a gourmet's delight since everything is close at hand while providing generous storage lockers and shelves above and below both forward and aft of the stovetop. A convenient louvered hanging dish locker provides additional storage as well as defining the galley and the salon. The counter space is generous and provides both top and front load access to the refrigeration boxes.

Broker's Remarks The "Vacilando" has received considerable systems upgrades and maintenance benefits by her current Owner over the last few years. Most mechanicals and electrical systems have been replaced with dependable modern equipment making "Vacilando" ready for cruising. A striking improvement over other Tayana's is a new off-white satin finish plank headliner that can be easily removed to access deck hardware plus all new dome and puck style accent lighting. This vessel represents a tremendous value for anyone interested in cruising offshore with a dependable yacht that's clean, well found, and has received many professional upgrades and improvements.
