Our History
City Yachts has been in business since 1969. The company is owned and managed by Paul and Christine Kaplan who have been involved in the marine business since 1972.
Over the past years we have seen a great number of competitors come and go. We are proud to be one of the survivors and we are now amongst the oldest yacht sales in Northern California.
We built our reputation by dealing honestly and fairly with our customers. We are proud to be regarded as one of the most professional and knowledgeable yacht sales on the West Coast. Over the years we have imported boats from Sweden, Finland, England, Canada, South Africa, Tawain, New Zealand, and Australia. We have represented some of the best boat builders in the business. We have sold boats from 8' to 80', both motor and sail. If it floats we probably have sold it. Our staff consists of boating fanantics who have sailed and raced everything from dinghies to Maxi's. We have cruised in large and small boats. From the Pacific Northwest to the Caribbean. If we have not done it we know someone who has first hand.
