Cheoy Lee continues to be a family owned and run business having been in the Lo family for over a century since its formation. With a rich and diverse history in both commercial and pleasure craft ship construction, Cheoy Lee were one of the pioneers in the use of fiberglass yacht construction in the early 1960's, which began to replace the traditional teak motor and sail boats that the company produced at that time. Always having strong ties to the United States, which has remained a major trading partner for nearly fifty years, the company has delivered nearly 5,000 vessels to date. Indeed the majority of the pleasure craft purchasing is done from the Ft. Lauderdale office, ensuring availability for parts and replacement items for ease of maintenance and warranty work.
The North American company not only helps new boat clients, but is also very active in the brokerage market. It's not surprising that the brokerage entity sells more used Cheoy Lee's than any other company, since this is usually someone's first call if they are looking for a particular model. However, due to the broad range of knowledge and general brokerage experience in the sales department, the company lists and sells a wide variety of brokerage vessels, from trawlers, motorsailors, sportfishermen, to express cruisers, motoryachts and "mega-yachts". If you can't find what you are looking for in our online listings, please do not hesitate to contact us for a more in depth review of our extensive inventory on both new and used vessels. Please give us a call or send us an e-mail today. We will be happy to assist you further!
