About The Picture Above
The picture posted on our page is the 85' Ditmar Donaldson, MOJO. Ditmar Donaldson builds very strong boats. Aboard was the actor George C. Scott, his wife, and the Captain. The picture was taken in 1979 as she hit a rogue wave at the entrance to Morro Bay, California. The west coast of the US has many bays that are extremely dangerous to approach or head out of to sea in rough weather. The wave is estimated to be about 20' or more. Sometime later there was a fire aboard and after refurbishing, she was lengthend 10'. And again later (she has had several owners) another 10'. Her decor was changed to "art deco". At last report she was lying in Newport Beach, California. I was aboard her in 1993 and she was beautiful.
