Cameron was 2009 and 1999 President of the Northern California Marine Association and continues to serve on the NCMA Board of Directors and the NCMA Legislative and Governmental Affairs Committee. Also, Cameron, working in coordination with the State of California Department of Boating and Waterways and CYBA, wrote the consumer brochure, How to Buy a Used Boat, which was published by the State in June 1999.
