Bruce Tait & Associates image Bruce Tait & Associates has been in the business of Yacht Brokerage, Yacht Charters and Yacht Management since 1980. We are located in the historic sailing port of Sag Harbor, New York, in the heart of the Hamptons on the East End of Long Island. We have sold yachts locally, up and down the east coast, the west coast, Alaska, Europe, the far east, and the Caribbean.

Yacht Brokerage: If you are selling your yacht any number of professional yacht brokerage firms can list your yacht, expose it to a market, to the available MLSs, the Internet and a network of brokerage firms. At this firm, we offer to our sellers all the above plus the key ingredient - Integrity. It is our Job to bring buyers and sellers together!

Yacht Charters: The single most important factor in choosing a charter broker is how familiar they are with yachts and their crew. Our brokers attend international charter yacht shows to meet crew, inspect the yachts and visit bareboat locations and fleets. We will simply recommend the finest yachts, large and small, crewed ore bare anywhere in the world. Some of the more popular areas include the Caribbean, New England, Florida and the Bahamas, the Mediterranean. For more unique trips choose the South Pacific...Tonga, New Zealand or the Whitsundays or maybe the Seychelles, Galapagos, Turkey, Croatia, Pacific Northwest or even Alaska. If your a seasoned sailor and prefer to take the helm... let us help you arrange a bareboat vacation in one of these areas. We represent the Moorings, Sun Yacht Charters, Sunsail, Catamaran Charters, Nautor Swan and many of the finer bareboat outfits. Booking through us costs you no extra than booking direct. If you are just looking for a day on the water while in the Hamptons, Monaco or the south of France...we can arrange something as simple as a lovely picnic for two aboard a classic sailing yacht or an elegant weekend of entertaining aboard a luxurious motor yacht.

Speed; Innovation; Grace The SIG45 is that and more, she may be the world’s fastest production catamaran!

Le Breton Yachts assembled a phenomenally talented design team for the SIG45:

Van Peteghem Lauriot Prevost (VPLP) is probably the world’s number one multihull design firm, responsible for yachts ranging from ORMA60 trimarans to luxury custom catamarans. Their 105ft

trimaran, Groupama 3, is currently holder of two transatlantic records (east and westwards) and the 24hour speed record (795nm, an average speed of over 33knots!). Their latest creation is the incredible BMW Oracle trimaran winner of the 33rd America’s Cup Deed of Gift race.

Bjorn Johansson, The emphasis of his beautiful interior is on simple, lightweight luxury. Bjorn has brought a touch of superyacht style to the interior of the SIG45, which provides a remarkable sensation of space and quality.

Bruno Peyron, As the technical consultant for the project, he has applied his extensive multihull racing experience to optimizing the design, and is responsible for the rig and deck layout.

The result of this collaboration is Speed, Innovation, Grace! A Carbon Fiber catamaran with a Carbon Fiber rotating mast and the deck space of a megayacht, a simple elegant interior that sleeps 6 with top speeds in excess of 20 knots!

She Just upgraded her drive system to electric!!!

The SIG45’s new electrical drive system consists of twoOceanvolt 8.6kW electrical engines and two small 5.6kWh lithium battery packs to save weight. This gives 40nm of autonomy at 5-6 knots, and a top speed of 8.5 knots. If required, the props can be used to charge the batteries while sailing – 2x2kW at 14 knots! In due course, the boat will have a lightweight removable generator able to provide 20kW of DC current for supporting battery packs, and an array of solar panels.
