We started by building and maintaining traditional wooden craft used by the local gentry on the Norfolk Broads. Then came the development of timber built motor cruisers for hire to the working population of the UK as paid holidays became the norm. Proudly, Brooms pioneered the development of fibreglass for boat construction through their Aquafibre Company (started in 1965) and now they build some of the finest seagoing cruiser's in Europe.
