With her classical apperance she combines grace and style with a modern deck layout, underwater hull, keel and rudder. The Saffier Sc 10 m has almost 50% of her ballast in the keel making her very seaworthy and, with a 1.15 m draught and 2.50 m width, she can be trailered and sailed on any water.

The comfortable self draining cockpit is made to relax in. A lot of thought went into the ergonomics of the cockpit, there is enough room for 8 people to sit comfortably. The Saffier Sc 10 m is easy to handle by the helmsmen alone. All sheets, halyards, reefing lines and trim lines are led under-deck to the winch consoles which can be operated electrically*. The standard steering wheel has a 1 to 1 link so that the Sc 10 m feels direct and you can steer her with your fingertips. A self steer autopilot* can be attached to the rudder system. On the pedestal of the steering wheel a magnatic compass* and a bracket with a chartplotter can be mounted. In the cockpit there are 2 lockers under the seatings to store mooringlines, fenders etc.
Deck and Cabin layout
The deck and cabin of the Sc 10 m is smooth and clean. All lines run underdeck. There are 6 folding cleats for mooring. In the bow there is an anchorwell in which the standard jib furling system is mounted. Below decks you will find a surprisingly lot of space for a daysailer. This is why the Sc 10 m can be called a daysailer deluxe. There is enough space below to sit and sleep with 3 persons. In the front there is a V berth of 2.15 m x 1.60 m. 2 lockers and 2 shelfs. In the salon there is place for 4 to sit and one bench (2.00 x.70) can be used as a berth. On the port side there is a wet cabin with toilet* and waste tank*. On the starboard side there is a small galley With a sink, running water, 2pit gascooker, lockers and a Fridge*. Throughout the boat there are ample spot and cabin lights.
The Hull is made of hand lay up GRP 9 mm thickness from bow till stern 16 mm over mid section of the entire boat. The keel area is enforced with roving to a thickness of 24 mm. Keel is supported with 4 crossbeams to distribute keel forces. Water line is laminated in the gelcoat. Standard color Saphire blue.
Deck and Cabin The deck and cabin of the Sc 10m is smooth and clean. All lines run underdeck. There are 6 folding cleats for mooring. In the bow there is an anchorwell in which the standard jib furling system is mounted underdeck. In the stern there is a flush hatch for further storage. The cabin has skylight hatch in front of the mast for light, ventilation and escape hatch. In the side of the cabin there are 2 windows on each side for light and sight. All lines coming from the mast run under the coachroof and the main hatch slides under the roof as well. Deck, cabin and cockpit are a sandwich construction of fibreglas, Divinicell and plywood on places were deck hardware is needed.

Double spreader Selden mast and boom. Furling jib is fitted underdeck. Lights; tricolor and steaming light. All lines are lead to the winchconsoles in the cockpit. Halyards consist off; Mainsail, Jib, genaker or spinnaker, derrick or spare main. Boom lines consist of; 2x reefing (run to the boom) outhaul, kickingstrap.

All valves, hoses, piping and electrical wiring is done with great craftsmanship and has been approved according to ISO and CE standards. All winches, rails and blocks on deck is Harken.
