The HH 42 is a fully optimized very high performance racing yacht. Designed by world renowned Judel Vrolijk Yacht Design, the HH 42 is simply made to be the fastest in its size around the race track, yet be competitively raced to win on IRC as well as ORC. It will have limited offshore capability to ensure it's always a leading feature at such classics as The Fastnet, The Rolex Sydney to Hobart and Rolex China Sea Race. It will have full option packages to suit different racing styles for the world's different regions, including but not limited to lifting keel, retracting propeller, wheel steering, carbon rigging, and deck gear packs with a variety of winch options.

Bulb is solid cast 2.2 tons with 1.5% antimony lead.
Rudder foil is high lift with 100% carbon prepreg stock and 100% carbon prepreg blade.
Bearings are water tight self-aligning from JP3
Tiller is Hakes Custom Carbon with Spinlock extension

Mast is a Southern Spar carbon rig with backstay deflectors for performance adjustment
Two piece rig with joiner for easy packing and transportation
Two spreader rig with carbon aerofoil spreaders
Twin groove headstay foil installed on forestay.
Box boom, with removable carbon gas vang strut, two reef sheaves.
Nitronic 50 rod rigging, 12 t Kevlar backstays

Keel & rudder are factory pre-fitted, rig is pre-fitted to commission, boat is "soft launched" in test pool.
Boat sits on low steel cradle in hull splashes / keel is stowed on side under boat for transportation
Mast is sitting on deck in supports, boat is strapped down to cradle with gunwale protectors / boat is shrink wrapped for shipping
