The ICE 52 is a new design from the boards of Felci Design. Launched in September of 2015 and premiering at the Genoa Boat Show 2015, it is a very modern yacht with outstanding performance, comfort on board, and is excellent both for challenging cruises and racing.
The design is similar to the latest ICE 33 racer which was launched in June 2014 and is the most competitive racing boat in it’s category. Unique to these designs are a bow shape that looks like a “scimitar” and a stern section with a fascinating carving form. In the ICE 52 you can find the same performance, comfort and space as you would in 60' boats
The hydrodynamic profile of the underwater appendages and the long waterline length creates great performance in the ICE 52 with its ability to go up wind sailing at low angles and it's ability to glide effortlessly through the water thanks to its' 15' 3" beam and powerful stern sections.
The ICE 52 is available with an optional Lifting Keel version that significantly diminishes draft when returning to port but allows for the tremendous performance level of a deep fin keel.
The 52 is now also available in a new competition RS model. The ICE 52 RS features carbon epoxy construction along with weight saving structural bullheads and furniture.

The laminates of the hull and deck of the Ice 52 are resin infused with composite materials using glass-carbon fibre in an epoxy resin matrix sandwiched with a PVC foam core varying densities and thicknesses depending on the areas high laid and stress.
Localized reinforcements are made with undirectional and biaxial carbon fibers.
The longitudinal and transverse (bulkheads and floors) structures are entirely vacuum laminated in an epoxy sandwich using glass-carbon fibers and PVC foam cores again, with varying densities.
The shroud, forestay and backstay chainplates are composite and steel made.
The dual helms are positioned forward for an optimal line sight for sail trim with direct access to the mainsheet even when the boat is healing.
The large stern area is clear of equipment and can be fitted with cushions. With the transom open, it offers a comfortable spot for swimming and sun bathing while providing access to a large garage where a tender tender may be stowed without deflating it (8.75 ft max).
The cockpit is oversize and is characterized by large seatbacks and benches for comfortable seating. An optional table may be added for dining.
The wide but discrete window lights of the coachroof which includes a forward looking window, provides unrivaled interior lighting without limiting privacy.
The low freeboard makes the hull look elegant and slender, the large windows on the sides, along with those coachroof provide a remarkable brightness to the interior, with point of view at different levels.
The boat deck is completely clean and the forestay is equipped with an electric roller-furler jib with drum fitted below deck, a fixed bowsprit featuring an anchor roller and a fitting for the gennaker tack.
