Selene Ocean Explorer

This gorgeous new design from Guido de Groot will soon be in Seattle.  Hull construction is complete and the deck will join soon.  Delivery expected early 2014.  Captains will appreciate this yacht for the fantastic crew accomodations as well as providing a very tough platform for long range cruising.  

The Selene 92' Ocean Explorer is a joint effort from Naval Architect Howard Chen and Guido DeGroot. Sweeping in design and cruising comfort, The Selene 92 is an ideal long range Ocean Trawler for the true Explorer.

The lines of the Selene 92 shy away from the traditional in styling and offer a little more European styling than the years of Selene Ocean Trawlers delivered in the past. We still offer the traditional lines of the Selene 86 and added the Guido DeGroot styling that brought his European roots into the project.

Construction has begun on the Selene 92 Ocean Explorer with an expected delivery at the end of 2013, early 2014.   An international cooperation of design, engineering, electrical systems, and RINA and MCA is working together for this fantastic new yacht build.
