New from Yellowfin is the 36, an offshore center console designed for light-tackle fishing. The hull is a twin-step, deep-vee designed for two or three outboard motors. With duals, the 36 is capable of 50 mph; it will hit 70 mph with triples. Stats like these are sure to get some attention on the SKA circuit, where this hull has already posted some impressive tournament performances. The boat comes standard with two bait wells: one in the leaning post with a 60-gallon capacity and a slosh-proof double lid, and another at the transom. A leaning post/rocket launcher is standard, as are T-top, K-plane trim tabs, nine-foot rod boxes, Imtra gas shocks on all hatches, fishboxes that drain through a macerator pump and Gemlux stainless hardware throughout. Four rod holders are standard in the covering boards, which, at 13 inches wide, allow you to throw a castnet from the bow and walk it all the way back to the stern live well. Under-gunwale carpeted storage racks hold eight more rods. Belowdecks, there's storage for more rods than you can use, protected by a lockable lid.
