The PINICA-SYSTEM permits the industrial production of hulls of any design from special, mechanically prefabricated extruded aluminium profiles.

Through the specially hull geometry the “DG-shape” combines the advantages of a glider for high speed with the
course stability of a displacement ship.
The “displacement glider” shows excellent chararcteristics in connection with power-fullness, exactly in the case of high speed , further one of the remarkable features of the “DG-shape” is less wave motion with slight remaining resistance.
This underwatershape had been developed for fast displacement boats. These boats avoid the building of waves in the field betweensimple and double speed of hull .
HULL AND DECK
The hull had been built with the “PINICA-profile system of construction”. Thereby special prebent aluminium profiles in the length are hooked and sealed together.
The aluminium alloy is strong and extremely resistant against corrosion. The integrated flanges in the length bring a particular high strength altough the weight is very low. The deck is made of aluminium shipbuilding sheets.
The special qualities of aluminium in confrontation to other materials are:
- High flexibility (springs back when steel long time before is deformed or GRP is broken);
- Highly resistant against corrosion;
- Light and strong;
- Non magnetic and non flamable;
- Conducting power for heat – cool boat wall in the south;
- Able to recycle –with profit;

The “DG-underwatershape” saves in comparison to all other popular boats, as well as half gliders and catamarans, in the field between simple and double speed of hull – here about 10 a 20 knots – up to 35 percent.
