This 2013 is our stock boat, #VK66-303. She made her public debut at the Viking VIP Event and Miami Boat Show, February 2012. Viking’s newest model in the fleet benefits from several updates including a dramatic raised-bow sheer line with a curvaceous deckhouse.

The enclosed bridge features a new custom, swept back look. Her absolutely gorgeous interior offers a comfortable 4 stateroom layout, a day head in the salon, engine room access from crew’s quarters, and a rich high-contrast deep grained teak interior. And, this girl can perform – powered by the 1925 hp Cat C32As, she’ll reach a top speed of about 40 knots and still deliver an efficient cruising speed of 30 knots burning less than 100 gal per hour. She is equipped with the optional fuel capacity of 2,265 gal. delivering a cruising range of almost 600 miles!  Extended cruising or competitive sport fishing – the Viking 66 EB does it all in style. The spacious salon features two dewberry style sofas which are covered in a distressed ultra-soft ultra-leather. These sofas have a huge amount of storage inside easily accessed because the back is hinged allowing for full access to the contents when raised with gas-assist shocks

As mentioned earlier, the 66 has all the same features as the largest convertibles made. In this case, it’s the day head that is so conveniently located right inside the salon door. It features bamboo wall paper and a copper undercounter sink.

The galley features (3) sets of sub-zero refrigerator/freezer drawers, plus a well-hidden trash compactor and ice maker. The galley counter-top is a custom Cambia Quartz material that has an all-natural look of fossilized coral with a little bit of gold fleck in it to brighten it up.

The dinette features a new decorator-favorite style of mixing materials. The backrest is a different material than the base. Also, the solid teak table has been updated with a custom burl maple inlay table.

The mezzanine seating features a custom arm rest and custom upholstery done by Costa Canvas. Their work is incredible and this seat is no exception.

She has Veem 5-Blade Props. Veem has devised an ingenious way to add pitch and cup to their props by inserting plastic strips of varying sizes to change the pitch and cup of the prop without having to remove and resurface the prop. During the initial sea tests, Viking will change the strips several times until they reach the optimum performance.

It may be interesting to note; that this 66 Enclosed Bridge Hull is set up differently than other Vikings in the past. It has larger prop pockets and a more shallow hull at the transom which translates into higher speed and less fuel burn, while still delivering a super-smooth ride and ultra-stable ride.
